Certificate in Local Anaesthesia – 1998

Certificate in Podiatric Acupuncture – 2009

Certificate in Cortico-Steroid Injection Therapy – 2011



During the 18 years I have worked in the NHS as a chiropodist/podiatrist I have gained experience in nail surgery, rheumatology, diabetes, domiciliary care, wound care and biomechanics.  Since 2004 I have worked as an Advanced Podiatrist specialising in biomechanics.

North Tyneside NHS PCT from March 1999 to March 2011.

Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust from April 2011 to present.

Senior Podiatrist at Connect Physical Health Centre, Ivy Road, Gosforth from October 2008 to 2015.

In addition to my NHS clinical duties I have been involved in the roles below;

In 2003 provided clinical support in research which has been published into the treatment of heel pain.

2003-2008 worked as a union learning representative.  This included working within a team organising education and training events for podiatrists in the North East of England.
